Silo 6, Ivet, Liquid, Lust for Lucy

at the Showplace Theatre in Buffalo, NY
September, 1997

Woo hoo! Youngstown, Ohio's Ivet was back in town! Saw these guys before and they were incredible! (the singer kind of summed that up when, after their first song he commented, "bet you thought we were gonna suck.")
This time around, however, something seemed to be lacking. Maybe because it was a larger venue, and I wasn't in a real 'show' mood. But they were still good, we remembered some of the songs, so that was cool. Wish they would've brought some cds to sell.

Lust for Lucy played first, though. We actually left for their set. Maybe it wasn't horrible, I'm not sure. But we didn't really give them a chance.

Third was Liquid. They were mediocre at best. I remember the bassist being decent though. Still, they seemed bored to be there, and the mood was catchy.

Silo 6 played last. A band with a lot of energy, they are great to see live. The crowd was dancing, and the guys jump in the audience (singer pete and guitarist eric) and dance with the crowd too.

All in all, an okay show.
